I think CCP has mentioned something like this. It would be completely awesome and add greatly to the excitement, variety and complexity of combat. Imagine targeting ships warp drives and then holding them to ransom or targeting their energy subsy...

5 lows lol - yeah forget the heatsink - typed it in without thinking. Pulses with scorch get to about 15 which isn't bad. BTW regarding range, if you're engaging outside of disruptor range - what exactly are you doing there?
